Crime Inc., a popular real-business-of-crime show on CNBC will rebroadcast it’s premier 2012 season opener, ‘A Deadly High’ featuring To The Maximus Foundation President, Karen Dobner on August 16th.
In ‘A Deadly High,’ Crime, Inc., takes you undercover to explore a multibillion-dollar synthetic drug industry.
This hour-long special on the deadly business of Synthetic Marijuana is especially timely, as the DEA has just begun a major crack-down on synthetic marijuana and other synthetic drugs in “Operation Log Jam,” which began July 25, 2012.
“They couldn’t have chosen a better time to air this program,” said Dobner. “It’s timely and newsworthy.”
In this episode, Karen Dobner recounts the events leading to her son’s death, and hunts for the distributors of the synthetic drug that killed him: iAroma.
The program also features interviews with Gil Kerlikowske, Director of the Office of National Drug Control policy, (the US “Drug Czar”); Rick Broider, President of the North American Herbal Incense Trade Association (NAHITA); Dr. Joseph Lee, Medical Director, Hazelden Addiction Treatment Center in Minnesota; and DEA Special Agent, Gary Boggs, with the DEA’s Office of Diversion Control.
The program will air on CNBC on Thursday, August 2, 2012 at 7 and 8 p.m. CDT, and 8 and 9 p.m. EDT.
